Underwater Hull Inspection

Simplifying fleet inspection and control.
With the ECOsubsea detection-tool and transparent reporting, you can easily track your hull condition over time, determine your ideal cleaning frequency and select the optimal biofouling management practice for your vessels. The reporting is robust due to our standardized procedure which means the results are easily comparable. Monitor day or night, independent of meteorological conditions and no disruptions to port operations.

Over 10 years, ECOsubsea have developed and fine-tuned a biofouling detection tool and image analysis methodology, *Detector, that directly measures and quantifies biofouling on the vessels vertical sides. The results are analyzed and an algorithm generates a standardized score of the vessel’s fouling between 1-10. The biofouling, coating and hull condition can be compared and analyzed between fleets and free up internal analytical resources.

The inspections utilize real measurements to provide additional data points for better decision making. The low-cost solution is simple to implement and enables you to make cost-saving biofouling strategies across the fleet.

ECOsubsea har developed a solution that is simple to implement and enables you to make better decisions to reduce your fuel consumption and CO2 emissions
